How to Prevent Suffolk County Rodents from Chewing on Your Car's Wires

Rodents are, for the most part, vermin. Rats, mice, and even Suffolk County squirrels can cause massive problems for everyone, be it from the disease that they carry, or the invasion of our homes, or even the fact that their teeth constantly grow, and so therefore they need to constantly keep on gnawing them on something. This can result in then deciding to have a nibble on some of your car's electronics.

This is a major safety hazard and if a New York rodent has nibbled through a cable already, it is best to get a repair man in, as it may save you at best a police ticket or at worse your life- some people have stated how rodents har actually cut through the power steering, as well as messing up the car by putting acorns where they aren't supposed to be. One of the ways in which car brand Honda recommends is to use a specially designed anti rodent tape. This tape has traces of a chemical found in chillies called capsaicin, which the rodents cannot stand. Strategically placing this around your car should help deter any munching mice.

This can be done by placing it near the engine, by some areas where the wiring may have become exposed, and the boot of the car (so they can't get to the taillights) But if that doesn't work another easy way is to install mesh around all the important components of a car, as well as holes such as the air intake. This plugging of holes can be extended. If you have an old and slightly rusty car make sure that it isn't easy for Suffolk County mice to get in
